A farmer's son from Moray, Atholl graduated from Aberdeen University in 1994 with an Honours Degree in Land Economy, and spent a year as a trainee land agent at an estate office near Forres before joining Bowlts to complete his training.
Atholl is now responsible for the management of the Elgin Office and heads up the Land Agency Team. Atholl has active involvements in all areas of the firm’s work but specialises in the negotiation of access rights, wayleave terms and compensation payments on behalf of clients affected by a variety of water, gas, electricity and road improvement schemes, the letting of telecommunications mast sites and advising clients on matters relating to wind farm proposals.
