LOGGERS TO COME TO UK
For the first time in their 30-year history the World Logging Championships are to be held in the UK.
The event will take place at Lockerbie, Scotland on 25-28th September 2002 where international teams of loggers will compete in five disciplines - felling, bar-and-chain changing, combination cross-cutting, precision cross-cutting and de-limbing.
Co-ordinator Graeme Hodgson said: “It is a very prestigious event and we expect to attract over 30 international teams of loggers.”
